Ear problem requiring attention

Doctor gave me a good examination and said that he would call me back last week. So far I have not heard from him Ear problem still exists after some 12 weeks. Doctor was going the consult hospital about it and ring me back.

Thank you for your comments. If a doctor specifically advises that they will call you, then they will try to make contact, if they cannot initially get hold of you, they will continue to try at a later date.

Poor Performance

Not so much Kingston Crescent per se, but more Portsdown Group Practice as a whole. Terrible set up trying to get an appointment, especially econsult.

Thank you for your comments. Primary care in general has issues with access, however we constantly monitor our resources and ensure we offer the maximum number of appointments that we can. eConsults are released each morning and then closed once we have reached capacity for the day.

How refreshing to see a real doctor who actually cared, had read my notes and did everything in her power to check and reassure me after major surgery. Please can this not be a 'one off'!!

Covid Vaccination

Covid Vaccination as usual one appointment for innumerable patients. However the queue continued moving albeit slowly! Likely the only way to get it done.

Breathing issues

I would like to say thank you so much to the lovely receptionist, nurse and doctor that helped me when I came crashing through the door unable to breathe at 8am in the morning. You were all so calm and lovely, I'm so sorry if I scared you all and thank you for your help and calling the ambulance. Amazing work, I'm so very grateful for ur help.

I brought my mother to Kingston crescent at 0930 hrs for 0945 hrs appointment only to find the appointment was booked at Southsea hub, a mad dash to Southsea, the receptionist "fitted" us in.

Completed an e-consult and a dr got back to me relatively quick. Did have a mare with trying to get my prescription and that wasnt just because the item was out of stock. On a few occasions i telepnoned the surgery to try and see if there was a substitute knowing full well there would be, it seemed to take quite along time for a dr to get back to me. All this was over a 2 week period after intial consult.

Spoke to the pharmacist about my prescriptions. I am still waiting to hear about wether I am to continue with Statins. I also asked about hayfever medication and she said she would pass the enquiry on but so far I have heard nothing.
