It would be nice to actually see a doctor I know I missed a phone call but if I had a proper appointment I would have been there, plus trying to phone for an appointment is like platting soot, impossible, where do all these people come from when you ring at the time stated and they can’t do any more that day what happened to forward planning I am fed up with your services when I did get in to see a nurse for a blood test was treated very nicely can I get result on the NHS app.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you find it difficult to gain an appointment. Most appointments can be dealt with over the telephone, that means that more patients can be spoken to and assisted with, than if all appointments were face to face. More and more patients are requiring help and therefore the appointments fill very quickly. Yes you can review your results on-line.

On top of his game

I think my appointment was good. The person I saw got a scan booked and they called the next day. He also arranged for me to go to another surgery, for blood tests while I was there. He was thorough, kind and on top of his game. Very grateful.

Quickly and painlessly

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I needed blood tests, booked online and got an appointment the next day, no wait, blood was taken quickly and painlessly. Got the results the next day. Excellent service. The only comment I would make is that I do everything online with the NHS app. I don't know if it would be less easy if I had to phone for an appointment.

I was very impressed with the attention given to the detail of my case and the way time was taken to explain why decisions were being made and the medication plan given as the surgery was obviously very busy. It felt that I was listened to and included in the process. Many, many thanks to the staff who saw me.

Paulsgrove Surgery

I found the nurses at Paulsgrove really friendly & kind & the Dr I saw at the Portsdown Group practice at Cosham is finally looking into why I'm in so much pain & getting these legions in my back shoulders arms & legs seen as I've had them now 18 months (I think I need a biopsy, to be honest, so do lots of other people as they are so painful now!) But I've only sent photos off & I can't see how a good diagnosis can be made from a picture as people have often been wrong in diagnosing!

As a patient, you struggle to find anywhere to park as staff fill all the spaces.
This surgery has changed so much in the last few years and it is not for the better. I try not to come and see the nurses or GP but medical conditions need treating. I have tried for the last 3 weeks to get an appointment to no avail, you seem to forget about the people who go to work and can't sit on the phone trying to get through. Yes I've also tried Econsult where the GP stated I needed a routine appointment, less than a week left and still no prescription.

Thank you for your feedback. Our staff do park elsewhere when possible, however, clinicians do need access should they be required to attend a patient at home or at the various care homes etc. Although it is important to note that parking is not guaranteed for anyone. We have tried to provide different types of access, such as eConsult, on-line bookings where appointments are released from 7pm and our Sites are open later, but unfortunately we will not be able to provide what everyone wants or needs as we have limited resources.

Staff are amazing!

When you get into a surgery the staff are amazing! But trying to get an appointment is the most over-complicated and stressful experience I have ever had to the point I avoid contacting you and treat myself nowadays.

The E-consult is over complicated and usually gets passed back as incorrect and the call centre is agonising!
