First cervical smear

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I had Nurse Judith Fajardo for my first ever cervical smear appointment, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed from the get go and calmed my nerves. She told me everything she was doing and was quick and effective with little to no pain at all, I'm no longer scared of having my smears done thanks to her!

I cannot fault the service I received today. I rang on behalf of my dad. They rang him back and he saw a doctor a couple of hours later and he also had blood tests with the nurse today just after seeing the doctor. The doctor he saw Dr Gaunt was professional and sympathetic to a very anxious person and the nurse was super too. Thankyou so much.

It was my third visit the first one lost my blood sample the second unable to get blood from my arm but the third time successful. While at the surgery I asked if I could change my doctor over a separate matter & was told I’m unable to do that, why.

Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased it was third time lucky. With regards to changing your doctor, when you make an appointment you can of course choose to decline a clinician, if you have a preference, however this may lead to longer wait times. Your named GP is purely for administration purposes and does not lead to you always being dealt with by that GP.

A positive experience

Had a phone call from gp. She was really helpful and said she would need to see me. Gave me an appointment same day. She listened to me and prescribed cream for me. She was very good and helpful. Really happy that I got to see a dr.

Over all good service. Check in is straight forward via a monitor. The blood pressure pod however is terrible. Nurse I saw was professional polite and helpful.

I asked if I could have an ultra sound scan to monitor a polyp in my gall bladder. This was arranged quickly and a GP fed back the results the following day and agreed to contact a consultant at the QA to arrange surgery.
