This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery
Had an email to ask to get in arrange an appointment. Had to wait 24 hours before I could do so online. Filled in e consultation form, had an email back saying if I hadn't heard from surgery within 48 hours to contact surgery. Then received another email saying someone would contact me within the next 10 working days. What a joke.

Thank you for your comments. We will contact patients to advise them that they need to make an appointment and sometimes will give a timescale within to try to arrange this, however this is more to try to give contact as to how soon this needs to be done. We do have a maximum capacity for eConsults and you may need to waiting until the next working day to complete one, as the forms are via a third party, you will automatically receive a message that you will receive contact within 48 hours, for us, this will be by text message with our own timescale of a response which is within 10 working days. This is a completely acceptable time frame for a routine appointment.

The booking in system is fine, but there were no wipes provided, so I was unable to wipe the screen down, which was poor with all things considered. The waiting time was short and sweet. The person who dealt with me for my test was talkative and reassuring, but surprisingly didnt' wear gloves or a mask, which I found odd!

Thank your for your feedback. Yes there should be wipes available to wipe the check-in screens which we ensure happens going forward. When you are being seen by a clinician they should be wearing a face mask, but only gloves dependent on what is being done. We will highlight these areas with our team and ensure this is improved going forward.

I came for a blood test which I had queried on the phone as I only had one about a week before. When I arrived I was told there was no paper work to authorise this test so it was a mistake and so I received apologies from the nurse and left.
