Getting the appointment was painful the phone service is very poor once though the call takers are very helpful but it did take along time to get a reply.

Blood Test

My appointment was pretty straightforward. I was in for a repeat blood test on 7 March. I did not have a long wait. The blood test was quick and painless and I am still waiting for the results.

Injection in my shoulder

I had an injection in my right shoulder.
Before I had the injection I was told a lot of stories about them but I must say the guys that did it was very good, no pain and very quick.

Blood test

The nurse that took my bloods was lovely, she was very polite and friendly which made me feel at ease. She also took my BP as I was concerned. She then spoke to a GP and got back to me within half an hour of me getting home which I am extremely grateful for.

We are sorry that you arrived late and that the receptionist was rude, however they are doing there job by highlighting the importance of prompt attendance as anyone arriving more than 7 minutes late for an appointment, unless urgent should be advised that they cannot be seen.

Amazing

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I unfortunately didn't catch the name of the doctor/nurse that I saw, which is a shame as she was absolutely amazing. I have actually been back to the doctors since with a different issue, and again I was lucky enough to have seen her again. On both occasions, it was a bit of a difficult visit for me, but she was so reassuring and non judgemental. Instead she sat back, listened, sympathised and gave kind and good advice. She really was a breath of fresh air, and I not only walked away feeling like I had actually been heard, but my issues seem to be on the mend too. She was a blonde lady, wearing blue trousers and top. I wish I knew her name so that I may thank her personally and let her know how much of a positive impact she made.
