I was treated with great respect. From the receptionist to the nurse. As always.

I called for a same day appointment as suffering with vertigo. I was uncomfortable with the amount of information the receptionist required. As a health professional it still feels alien to be asked medical questions by an administrator. I Was contacted within an hour by a GP who couldn’t have been more polite, assessed over the phone taking into account my previous history. Advice was obtained and prescription arranged to be delivered to my pharmacist. I felt I was listened to and felt reassured by the advice provided. I can’t fault the GP.

Very pleased to get a face to face appointment from only having a phone call previous morning. Very helpful and friendly receptionist, promptly seen by Doctor . Helpful and attentive Doctor as before and reassuring with his advice.

I waited only a few minutes before being called into the room to have a blood test. The nurse was very friendly, did the blood test and answered the questions I had for her. I could not have had a better experience, all done with a smile.

My appointment was cancelled, the receptionist told me Kirsty was off sick. She wasn't as there are 2 Kirstys and the one I have been seeing was NOT off sick. Not happy about that stupid mistake.

The nurse who dealt with me was very professional, very reassuring, nicely spoken Lady, and I found her to be a very good asset, to your good selves! Especially dealing with Nervous people like myself! !!! Keep up the excellent workmanship, you are all great!

Firstly my mother never attended an appointment at Somerstown surgery she went to Cosham Park House. When there she was treated and given a injection in her knee which was brilliant. However she is still in agony and is really getting her depressed, she very rarely needs to see a doctor only when she is really poorly even though she is 80 years old. We know she has arthritis but she hasn't had a blood test to see if it's rheumatoid arthritis which has different treatment. I know the surgery is busy but when you phone at 8 am and finally get through to the (gestapo )sorry receptionist you tell them the problem and they tell you she should take painkillers when I replied she is already taking strong painkillers for her back I was told to phone back at 10 o'clock for a routine appointment which I didn't as I've done this numerous times being in a cue for 20 minutes to be told all appointments have gone. So I phoned 111 who were really helpful and they forwarded a report to the surgery. So when I finally got through to surgery she was given a appointment. We are seriously thinking of changing GPS.

I was booked in for 10.30 waited 30 minutes, but the appointment went well.

I took my Mother for a blood test to the surgery which was unsuccessful. The Nurse could not get any blood from her arms after several attempts, Beryl became very anxious and on asking several questions the Nurse unfortunately just answered I don’t know to all of them. I had to make another appointment for a later date which will be a real struggle as my Mother is 90 and cannot walk un-aided which is very stressful for her. I asked if perhaps a Nurse could visit her sheltered accommodation to take her blood but she just said, yet again I don’t know! I do hope that we have a different Nurse on the next stressful visit as sadly she didn’t fill us with any confidence whatsoever.
