Annual blood test

I arrived in time for my blood test it was given promptly and professionally.
I was in and out within five minutes.

Cant fault the staff

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Seen on time and efficiently. Nurse practitioner was kind and informative.
Only issue was couldnt get an appointment any later than 345 as all appointments were gone by the time I had call back as I work.
Doctor on the phone was also helpful and gave me all my options. Cant fault the staff at Portsdown group practice. Never had a bad experience and work effectively.

Fantastic surgery

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Apart from the initial getting through to reception, which took 25 mins of continually redialing, (60+ calls ) everything was excellent. From the moment I actually got through , you couldn't fault the professionalism and courtesy of all involved. A fantastic team in a fantastic surgery .

Blood pressure checked

Very short appointment, as it was just to check my blood pressure (an ongoing issue) and give me forms to check it myself for 2 weeks. As always, very friendly and helpful staff.

Desperately seeking new gp

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Virtually impossible to get an appointment anymore. If you do manage to speak to someone the GPs are generally dismissive of symptoms and concerns and just encourage you to take painkillers. I was told for nearly a year that there's was nothing wrong with me - turns out I was seriously ill and in need of major surgery. Avoid.

The nurse was great

I had blood tests done and the nurse was great, very friendly and managed to get blood straight away (it can sometimes take a few goes).

The nurse I saw called Jackie was so nice and understanding about what I was going through, as well as the other nurse in the room with her (didn’t catch her name). Both equally lovely and both tried to make my daughter feel comfortable whilst I was sat in the chair. Very grateful.

I thought my appointment was very rushed, the dr was meant to talk to me about my mental health and medication and he never I found this appointment very disappointing I feel the surgery do not care about their patients more so with people that have on going health problems.

Trying to get an E consult or doctors consultation

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I have tried to use the systems available including on line e consults as well as calling the surgery.
The online e consults on a Friday state non available till Monday and every day there after there seem to be non available.
When I call I am informed there are no routine appointments available and should call back with the same response.

Very disappointed with the service received, was amongst the last appointments of the day felt rushed, unheard and treated very rudely. My partner was with me and he noticed the same too. Not very professional when it's a babies appointment. And the treatment she gave my baby goes a drastic allergy reaction if only she listened to what we was telling her.
