The Doctor was very nice and got straight on the phone to hospital and she did try for a very long time to get through to the department and I got admitted to hospital that day and was lucky I did as I had pneumonia and pleurisy. I came out last night after a week.

All very friendly and helpful.

Very quick, helpful, and friendly, professional phlebotomist.

The Free NHS Medical was thorough and very professionally carried out. The blood test is a must, prevention is better than a cure. Essential health advice
And positive supportive staff.

The only disappointment there is they sometimes never run on time.

I can’t fault the treatment I had but would have liked to see my own Dr. I have never seen this gentleman before and really had to listen to what he said. Missing some of his words I never have that problem with Dr. Whittamore.

I found the Doctor that I saw very thorough, unfortunately I can not remember her name. The Doctor made me feel much better and I thought the diagnosis was explained thoroughly.

Attended for my regular B12 jab which was administered very quickly by a well organised nurse. I also only had to wait 5 minutes before I was called in.

It has always been extremely difficult to contact the surgery by phone, during the COVID pandemic it was even worse! When anyone calls the surgery you can either receive a message stating the line is busy and then automatically cut off or put on hold for absolute ages? If you select the wrong option at the start you are abruptly told you have to call in again and go through the whole process again. Such a waste of people's time. Why can’t the surgery get more people to answer calls at busy times?
Whilst queuing at the surgery to have my covid jabs the majority of those around me were discussing how difficult it is to make an appointment to see a doctor let alone to speak or see a doctor directly to discuss medical issues. Not everyone is happy with discussing sensitive medical issues with people who are not medical, even though everyone is assured their conversations are confidential. This is simply not good enough. It is because of this issue that patients get very frustrated with GPs!
My last appointment was to have an injection. I turned up early for my appointment and the surgery was relatively empty, despite this I had to wait beyond my allotted appointment time?

For the first time in ages I was able to get a quick appointment. The phone call took a long time to get through as usual but once I'd spoken to someone I was quickly scheduled in for a face to face at Cosham staff having been redeployed to the Cosham surgery (due to short staffing elsewhere). There I saw a nurse/doctor who was extremely helpful! She was friendly and patient and put me at my ease with a sensitive problem. She listened and has prescribed me what I needed aswell as making sure there was no other underlying problem by taking and sending off a sample on that day. She also told me to get in touch if I had any other concerns. I generally find that The Portsdown Practice are unable to offer a good service as there are just too many patients with too few staff but I couldn't fault this experience. My problem is finally resolved.

I dont think that anything can be changed, I was pleased with the surgery.

Highly disappointed that I can never get through to make an appointment or even see the dr so much so that my infection needs 1 months worth of antibiotics as they dont know what it is.

Nurse was professional as always.

Kingston Crescent surgery staff are really good and always gives nice experience.

This time I was really pleased to have a visit, blood test, results and further action within 3 days.
