Physio appointment

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

My appointment was at Cosham not Kingston - and I am originally registered to Haywood in Southsea although I have to attend Somerstown, so it is a lot of travelling and never knowing where I'll be and how I'll get there. Understand the reasons why but just including this because it must negatively impact other patients too.
Getting the appointment (referral) was incredibly difficult by telephone but e-consult is good. First time using it and I definitely will use this method every time going forward.
I am very happy with the appointment I had at Cosham. I arrived 15 minutes early and after signing in, was quickly told the physio was delayed - I appreciated this as it meant I knew I had time to pop outside for a phone call and to run an errand before I was seen - a little thing but I felt this was great and considerate service.
The physiotherapist I met, Andy, was great and able to diagnose my pain and in the same day sent me texts to arrange my own x-ray and 12 week physio program. So I'm very happy I have a treatment plan to move forward with.

Asthma review with respiratory nurse

I was asked how I was getting on with my Asthma inhalers, I told her I had just in the last few days got a cough. She suggested I increase my Fostair inhaler to 2 doses which I have done.

An excellent re organisation at very short notice

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

I realised on the day of my regular blood test that it clashed with an oncology appointment at the QAH. Even with my super powers I can't be in two places at once.
I made my way to the health centre, explained my predicament to the lovely receptionist who in no more than the flick of a key board fitted me in 15 minutes later. Of which I waited only ten. The crowning glory of the entire appointment was having the nurse get the syringe in first time ! 10/10

Using the phone to speak to someone is useless. E form got a response. Diabetic staff were very efficient and they got a doctor to phone me. Saw the doctor in person and am now being treated with antibiotics. All staff were very kind and helpful.

Lovely thorough service from the nurse. Would have give 5 but very poor service to try and get an appointment regardless of covid. Only managed to get this appointment as mentioned to nurse that it was impossible to get one and she booked me in there and then.
