Chest Infection

Appointment was on time during which it was agreed for myself to have chest x-ray and blood tests to find out why I'm constantly getting chest infections which I have done, results due on10/2/22.

Pleasant visit

Doctors appointment

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I have had this pain for months. I just feel doctors want to get you in and out and give you prescriptions that aren't necessary. I've heard many people in my travels as a carer say similar. Treat us like we were family and it might be different. People don't want to become more unwell or die because of a wrong diagnosis or take tablets that aren't necessary. A test is done and if nothing is found that's the end of it from negative result for a test even though the pain isn't gone!

Somerstown Surgery

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Although using the e- consult form is a great idea, twice I have done it and did not receive a call within the 48 hours as stated when the form is completed. The first time I received call related to my e consult a month later and the second time was a week later after completing my form- which resulted to the doctor calling at a time when I was unable to take the call because I was working. At least the doctor sent a referral to the physio which helped with my problem.

Thank you for your comments. When you complete an eConsult the advice is that you will receive contact within 48 hours, in most instances this will be a text message direct form the Practice to advice when your eConsult is expected to be reviewed , this is generally between 10-15 days.

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

I didn’t find it too helpful. I had recently gotten burnt and had gone to get my burn dressing change and the nurse let me leave with nothing. My burns have left me in agonising pain leaving me unable to go to college or work. I understand if she thought it was unnecessary to redress the burn but she didn’t leave me with any alternatives when I asked for any. Instead, she said “I’m fully qualified and have been doing this for many years” and told me to find plasters to put on top so that I can go about my day; with all due respect my smaller burn was 5cm x 11cm and the largest dressing I could find at the pharmacy was 5cm x 5cm which isn’t helpful. The surgery hasn’t called for any follow up appointments either and I can’t get through eConsult as it always says “eConsult is unavailable until tomorrow morning” 3 mornings I have and nothing is available. The service was overall very disappointing as my burns have drastically changed my life for the time being and the Nurses don’t care at all.

Had a podiatry appointment but didn't feel I got enough from appointment. Now I have to buy things for feet from eBay or wherever, ( I have no idea if an off the shelf product will fit or work, ) maybe I was wasting the professionals tim , now to hope for the best, currently I can’t see my problem improving.
