I did have some issues getting through on the phone to make an appointment, however the GP I saw was very thorough. I had an ECG, blood pressure review and several blood tests. All the results were back within a few days. The GP then saw me for a review.

Having only recently signed on with the Portsdown Group Practice I was most impressed with the attention to service I have received. Everyone I have spoken to has been most friendly and helpful, long may it continue.

Both my husband and I had a confirmed appointment for our flu jab and it over run by 40 minutes because the nurse giving the injections had not looked at the bookings. If I had not gone to the reception area to advise, even though we had logged in through the proper process would have been waiting for a much longer time. It didnt seem coordinated. When we were being administered the jab the nurse only spoke and looked at my husband and ignored me completely which was somewhat disconcerting.

I was very dehydrated and was very dizzy which was causing me to fall, I went to the surgery and straight away they refer me to A&E which was a life saver as I need fluid to go in and acute infection which needs to be treated immediately. Thank you.

I phone for emergency appointment. The Doctor was really nice and very professional. I dont have to wait long for her call maybe just 10 minutes. I had blood test done the same day in Crookhorn surgery the nurse was really nice too. The following day I received text with the prescribed medication to take. Thank you so much. You are all amazing.

Absolutely awful service. The worst doctors service you could imagine. Filling in a self-service form was painful and long, chose this option as didn’t fancy being on hold to the doctors for over an hour to then being told by a receptionist that I need to go online and fill in an online form. It’s ridiculous! You go round in circles. And then a text is sent saying someone will be in contact in 15 days! The whole system and process is appalling along with the staff! Would never recommend and currently in the process of changing doctors. Have informed all families and friends to stay clear of this doctor surgery and not only this but to change doctors if already part of the group. This surgery genuinely doesn’t care about it’s patient.
