I have recently moved into the area and therefore newly registered with Crookhorn. As I am over 80, I have some health issues. I have had 4 contacts with the surgery so far and have been very happy with all of these to date.

I had 3 issues, one of which was a persistent cough which I have had for 3 plus weeks post positive for Covid. I was disappointed that, despite my concerns no checks were done on my chest or lungs. NHS adverts currently encourage checks on this particular issue as it may not be Covid but something else. How can a doctor tell without checking temperature, listening to my chest or organising a chest Xray? My wife is trying to get me to go back to doctors but I'm not keen as it seems a waste of time.

Thank you for your feedback. An assessment over the telephone will allow a clinician to assess whether an examination is required. If you continue to have a persistent cough please do get back in touch as the next step maybe for an examination to be required.

Helpful nurse

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

I got to surgery just before appointment time and went in on time, nurse very helpful, did bloods and B12 which saves me coming back for a separate appointment. On the website you can only book in for either bloods or B12 so would be good if you could change it so you can book both together.
