Skin Cancer Treatment Prescription

Absolutely appalling yet again, having to chase a prescription to treat my skin cancer, initially lied to regarding the date of receipt of letter from dermatology after a week of it just laying around, then told it will be done at sometime, can’t say exactly when, not available to collect the next day, woman giving my the high and mighty attitude on the phone, you lot just don’t give a care about people that are anxious about their particular illnesses. Then enquired about my blood test results and to be told yeah it’s all ok when I’ve been prescribed tablets already, shocking for some, as far as I’m concerned it’s business as usual with your inadequate staff

Appt with practice nurse

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

I had an appt with the practice nurse, Vania Marinho for my cervical smear. She was very professional and reassuring. She made the entire exam more bearable with her pleasant manner. Thank you.
The receptionist at the front desk, I believe her name was Lorraine, she was very helpful and welcoming.
From receiving letter for appointment/text to booking online it was all very easy.
I have however attempted to book appt re telephone, the phone often cut off when near the end of the queue. This service coud be better.

Happy with the queue and social distancing and mask wearing and overall speed and efficiency.
I implore you to make sure The Portsdown Group insists on keeping masking up when our crazy government go against expert scientific advice and scraps the mask wearing mandate.

I did an e consult and got initial e mail response to say up to 10 days, after 7 days I got asked to provide samples, I did turned out I had Ecoli, luckily I’m ok but younger older or vulnerable may not have been.

Friendly, efficient, totally professional in every respect. I went for a blood test, which is usually difficult because I don't give up my blood easily, but the vampires (phlebotomists) at Kingston Crescent Surgery rock!

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

After an operation to remove cancer, I developed sepsis. I became severely dehydrated which affected my stoma very badly. This in turn caused Acute kidney injury. I have not felt well or recovered properly since. I now have Anaemia and PTSD (as per Dr Safdar). Also my left leg in the hip area hurts when I walk. The Dr organised blood tests, prescribed sertraline and physio for me as well as a follow up appointment.
