Because it's disgusting that you can never get an appointment to see a doctor. You phone the triage line wait an hour or more to get throughew and they are never appointments left. Then when you go on line all you have is flu jab appointments There is no patient care what so ever.

GP phone consultation and face to face examination by nurses

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

GP contacted me few hours after I contacted surgery via phone. He was an extremely helpful, kind and professional. I had two requests for face to face examination and he organized that with a lovely Yvonne, a very experienced clinical nurse. Then she organized Dermatoscopy to be done by Adam. All is organized same day. I was reassured and happy after both examinations. Thank you to GP, Yvonne and Adam my experience was very good. Please note that I have not had treatment/it is only diagnostics.

Blood Test

I didnt wait long to see a nurse to take my blood sample, she was polite and professional and talked me through the procedure, she answered the questions I was enquiring about and it was over quite fast with no problems.

A great example of team working

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

After a telephone call with a member of the respiratory team an appointment was given to see a Gp at Crookhorn Surgery that I hadn’t seen before. He was very courteous and efficient was aware of my health Conditions and listened to my concerns. A treatment plan was made which dealt effectively with the problem. A great example of team working. Thank you everyone.

Blood test

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

My only contact at the surgery was with the blood taking nurses.
They are always friendly and helpful., I have never had any problems with any of them
I always ask them to make another appointment for my next blood test as its easier than trying to ring through to the surgery. I find it helpful to do this as I have to have monthly blood test and I can be sure I can get the appointment that way.

To change a dressing

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I enjoy my visits to the surgery to have my wound dressed. The staff are always chirpy, why I have yet to understand when you see all the miserable people they have to deal with. All the girls deserve a medal for the work they do.

My recent appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I was amazed to get a one to one with a lovely Dr Adam Taylor a couple of weeks ago. Totally unexpected. I have been ringing quite regularly through 2021 for various reasons and I am still around to talk about it so they were not life threatening but worrying symptoms at the time and pharmacists have been helpful as an alternative.
I would like to hear a telephone message saying all appointments have been taken before going through numbers 20 down to one and the receptionist asking you to ring again the following day. The wait can be quite lengthy and the result disappointing. I love Dr Ozzard's message. You must have a good reason to carry on hoping for an appointment after hearing his voice! Good choice Cosham Park House.
Dr Taylor organised blood tests for me and online I have read that no action is needed. A reassurance I needed.

Cosham Park House Surgery

Very impersonal e-consultation for HRT. Wanted face to face appointment but 'wasn't possible', was advised to do e-consult which is impersonal and offers no option for discussion. No choice of treatment offered just that the prescription would be released if bloods and other checks were OK. Not great when HRT is a long term treatment, women should be given a choice about what treatment they want for HRT.
