The woman on reception listened and showed empathy, she directed me to where I needed and was not rude like some in there!! One woman was rude to a foreign man who clearly had a language barrier and told him he could not jump the queue when he was not, he was told by another person to wait and do the form, you could see he needed help but she showed no support and spoke outright in front of all.. training need in foreign nationals and understanding when to help them with language barrier and not exploit them in front of a queue!! Poor man.

Urgent Appt V Routine Appt

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Regarding the Urgent Appt, the Doctor phoned back that morning, saw me that afternoon and I had an appt at QA arranged that day. This was first rate.
Regarding the Routine appt, I phoned at 10.00am, then again about 10 ten times until 10.15, when I became 24th on the list of waiting patients. By the time my call was answered at 10.55, there were no more appts available that day. I have not been able to book online the previous evening or phone after 10.00 am that day because I had other fixtures for just an hour when of course the Doctor may have phoned. I hope to make a successful appt in the near future, which may not be this year.
The second experienced does not contrast well with the first. Please rectify this at your earliest convenience.

To call Cosham Park is frustrating to say the least, often hold on for up to 30 minutes become number 1 in the queue for the line to then go dead and have to call back.
To be honest its always been a nightmare to get through but has got worse during the pandemic.

Blood test was great

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I’m nervous about injections so going in for the blood test was nerve wracking. The nurse I had was absolutely amazing. She mentioned that she was new to the job so I was amazed at how at ease I felt. I don’t normally get a nurse that makes me less anxious so I will definitely be visiting the surgery again for a blood test.

My first visit to this surgery, easy to find at the ground level of the Somerstown Hub. I was called in early for my blood test which was quickly done by a friendly nurse.
