I came into the surgery for a routine blood pressure check for my contraceptive. Before I left I asked at reception when I will be called for my flu jab and Covid booster as I’m entitled to it as a priority but hadn’t yet been given it. The receptionist was so effective, told me to take a seat if I wanted and I could have my flu vaccine within the next 10 mins. It was so convenient for me as I’m a full time member of management in retail so set days off are hard to come by. So I gladly waited to be seen. Whilst in my appointment for my flu jab, the doctor noted I was also eligible for my booster and I explained that I informed the receptionist I hadn’t been called yet. She went out back, got my booster vaccine and administered it there and then, no problems at all! Again, was a perfect scenario for me!
Despite feeling poorly for the next few days after my appointment due to the mixture of vaccines, I have no complaints.

My Doctors couldn't have been more helpful, they were quick to ring back, within a hour my meds were at chemist. Thank you to all that work at the surgery for all your hard work.

I needed to get my flu jab, we were told we could just walk in and get it done but that was Cosham Surgery but because I was there the doctor did for me which was nice of him.

I have seen a nurse since being sent home with high blood pressure.
I keep being told that the dr may need to increase my medication.
I have not yet seen a Dr, and have been off work for over 4 weeks now, my anxiety is high and I am continually worrying about a lot of things and would like to see a Dr.

Appointment delayed due to an emergency which although frustrating was understandable. Friendly staff and seen as soon as they could.

I had a good experience at Somerstown Surgery. Seen by a lovely nurse and was seen on my appointment time.

Nearly 8 weeks ago I was lucky enough to see Dr Gohill at the Flu vaccination clinic and was able to tell him that I had been trying to get an on line consultation because of a worrying skin lesion on my arm. He booked an appointment for me there and then. My consultation with him was efficient and it gave me the chance to ask his advice about a possible musculoskeletal problem. This resulted in my seeing Andrew, a physio at Cosham Park House. I have never been listened to so intently! After a thorough examination it was decided that I should have chest Xrays and that Andrew would also be ringing me to discuss them and the results of blood tests required by Rheumatology Dept QA following a break in my left foot. After all the complaints I had been hearing about the surgery and worries that elderly patients especially were feeling neglected,, I was absolutely blown away by the care I received.
Then, I further needed to have a GP appointment because of onset of severe pain in top of left leg and groin area. Again, there was no problem getting an appointment and I saw Dr.Muhauwa?. Extremely thorough examination and Xray arranged. He was also able to allay my fears about the abdominal pain.
Results came back within days and a phone call from Dr. Muhauawa to discuss outcome and way forward and, again reassurance about my abdomen.
Then, young Andrew rings the other afternoon to ask if blood results are in and, as they are not, we make a telephone appointment for a chat next Thursday. How wonderful was that!
Sorry I have been long winded ( that's me I'm afraid) but all of the above is not what I was expecting having had my ear bent by so many dear friends and acquaintances who have been struggling to get through to surgery, let alone get an appointment. We all felt our once wonderful practice had totally gone down the pan.!!
So, thank you everyone for my care. Also would like to say that Maria at the Hub is an absolute star!

As always found staff helpful & friendly. The nurse was really nice & helpful.

Lovely lady dr I saw, very understanding and very helpful. Had to speak to the reception and the lady could see I was in a bit of a flap and not only helped me but didnt rush me. I find all staff at Kingston crescent surgery very helpful.

No problems at all.

Although I arrived a little early and had to wait for a short while, the blood test was carried out on time.

Cannot fault the doctors, nurses or also other staff who were wonderful.

The blood test was taken on time and was quickly done and I was completely satisfied with the way it was carried out.

Didn’t have to wait long before nurse called me through. Carried out test painlessly, all done within minutes.

I had a txt from the surgery to say that I missed my appointment but never had one!! I would like one but that is never possible, I work full time for the NHS so can’t ring early mornings or at 2pm, I’ve not spoke to any doctors and can’t even get a ring back so don’t know why you’ve sent this to me.

The Practice Nurse was very pleasant and helpful. Carried out my checks and answered my questions in an efficient manner. Good experience.

My appointment was handled well, all options were given for me to make an informed decision.
