14 working days later! Finally had a call from a nurse, not a GP a nurse or a practitioner!

Have been in quite a lot of pain/discomfort but patiently waited. After 5 working days, at my cost, I treated myself with test kits and treatment!

Understanding and sympathetic

Very helpful - had obviously read my notes and my e consult so were able to resolve all my queries. GP texted me a note of the daffodil line for any future urgent help I may need - great idea. Very understanding and sympathetic of recent diagnosis.

No waiting

Went here to have clips out as I couldn’t get my normal surgery. Really nice nurse that I saw, no waiting, and really safe.

I had my blood pressure checked by a nurse, which is always high in the surgery. The result was checked by the doctor and checked against my home readings. The doctor was happy to let me leave.

Painless and over in a few minutes

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Very friendly, punctual puncturing. The whole procedure was painless and over in a few minutes. I really hope that communication of results is this thorough and efficient. I am being asked about my satisfaction with the outcome, but the outcome is being measured in HbA1c, cholesterol and T3 or 4. In fairness, I’ve tried to not review my satisfaction with the outcome but the system requires something so I’ve given an optimistic 4.

Excellent, proactive

The nurses I saw were excellent, proactive and made me feel at ease - the experience (which I had been dreading) was much better than expected. However, reception were unable to look at booking a follow-up appointment for me.

Unnecessary appointment

I saw Dr N who was as mystified as I was about why I was there we eventually found out that it was to do with my Propiverine medication which the pharmacy was unable to still get. I then was delivered the new alternative which I found a bit alarming as I had not had any notification of this.
