Excellent service

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

My call was triaged and I was called back promptly by a GP. I was given an appointment to see a paramedic practitioner who was very knowledgeable and caring. Awaiting a hospital appointment for further tests.
All in all I experienced excellent service!

Visiting Social Perscriber

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

This was a routine appointment arranged on my previous visit. On arrival I found the waiting room empty and was able to sit easily for a short while until I was asked to go in. Very smooth, safe feeling due to the lack of other people in the surgery.

Disappointing

Saw a physio who agreed with my cause of pain that GP rejected though GP has never seen me, it's a miracle if you get to see a GP, disgusting service we're getting.

Thank you for your feedback. It is regretful, however often it is not necessary to be seen by a GP, however being signposted to a physio was clearly the correct decision.

I had a blood test which was done very professionally although it was a long lead time getting the booking.
I have since bean told I need another blood test again over two weeks before it can be done.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you found our service to be professional. We have had a longer than usual wait for blood tests - this is largely due to HCAs being redeployed around the COVID clinics when we had to greatly increase capacity. We are pleased to report the waiting time is back to more 'normal' lead times now - with options available wihtin 24-48 hours in the main.

The whole experience went very smoothly. We were seen on time and my wife and I were seen together. Advised to sit for ten minutes in the waiting area, which was clean and the seating arranged to avoid unnecessary contact. Excellent.

I was asked to go into the waiting room, the seats were clearly marked for distancing which was good. The seats were very clean as was the rest of the room. The dr was very safety conscious and I felt very comfortable.

Good to see someone face to face

The doctor I saw was very pleasant and certainly did try to sort my problem out. Although I am still not breathing well I must say it was good to see someone face to face, I am sure the gps do their best under present circumstances.

Many thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Our GPs are always endeavouring to do their best under the circumstances / system pressures / restrictions etc. Contacting patients over the phone is helpful but rest assured we have earmarked face to face capacity for when it is required.
