Rang at 8 a.m, got call back by triage doctor 2hrs later, very efficient discussion.
Tests and treatment all arranged.
Couldn't of asked for a better service especially as its well known how extremely busy the system is at present.

Thanks for your comments. Dr Mannings is excellent and will be missed from Crookhorn, and the whole practice - though we are thrilled he has agreed to continue to support us with COVID vaccinations for the foreseeable.

Recent experience

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I called into the Surgery to find out when my wife could have her flu jab. She has recently been housebound and I managed to take me out to the shops in our wheelchair accessible car that day.
As my Wife was outside in the car the staff invited us in and my Wife had the flu jab within minutes and we were also able to book up her COVID-19 booster jab whilst in the surgery. Thank you everyone concerned as that was the first time that she had left our house in 3 months.

We do endeavour to do vaccines opportunistically for maximum convenience - there are some we cannot (like COVID) due to certain requirements, but it's great to hear we exceeded your expectations and were able to help you on the day.

Appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

As a secondary school teacher I can only call at limited times. Having to be on hold for 30 mins to then be told to ring back at 2 isn't ideal. Gone are the days where we used to be able to come in and see the family doctor. God forbid if I had something really wrong with me as I would put it off due to how hard it is to get seen or even speak to a doctor.

Overall very good! BUT trying to get an appointment completely disgraceful, wait for hours then to be told fully booked try again tomorrow very very stressful and frustrating.

Difficult to find the surgery, I’d never been there before. It was also difficult to find my way inside, signposting not obvious.

You can book blood tests at any of our sites - though obviously it would depend on your availability as to what site would suit you best. You can also book blood appointments on line to have more time to determine what site and time would best suit your needs.

To be honest it was a complete waste of time. I had an invite for a health check. About two weeks before I was told I'm pre- diabetic. Well when the nurse found that out she coped and said "well why are we doing this then. She was not happy.
