Flu vacination

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Managed to get an appointment by phone, holding on about 10 minutes. No queues at the Cosham surgery.
Display board tells you how many are waiting, which showed we were 10th in the queue, but there was no one in the waiting room?

B12 appointment

This appt. was excellent. Seen quickly and nurse was very friendly and professional.
I had an appt the week before which was cancelled. However I was not advised and waited in the waiting room for 15 mins. When I asked the receptionist how long it would take she told me my record showed me as a no show and I rec'd a text whilst in the waiting room saying I had not attended my drs appt!! It then took about 10 mins. to find another appt. This was at Somerstown Hub. I will answer the questions below for the Somerstown debacle.

Breathlessness concern

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

Was pleased to get an appointment to see a doctor. Was expected at clinic but had to wait outside. Doctor didn’t really reassure me, did temperature, listened at back of chest, couldn’t hear any crackles, decided not to prescribe steroids. Said I had a virus! Spent several days in bed, wheezy chest still, a week later. Tested for Covid, negative.

Many thanks for the 5 star rating. Our nurses are excellent! If you have an urgent medical issue you can call us on Option 1 through the day - though we advise you to call close to 8am as we are an appointment led service. If you are looking for routine medical advice, our contact centre staff will signpost you to the most appropriate team member to help you. We also have eConsult and online access should you wish to try.
