Yes, Covid has changed the usual expectations of face to face contact with our GPs. However, the kindness and courtesy hasn't. In response to a request, a phone call was arranged and advice and help given + a very swift appointment arranged. A later blood test was arranged and every effort was made to ensure that the time was convenient. Thank you.

I am still in the process of trying to book my mother a follow up appointment as recommended by her GP and cannot get to speak to anyone even tried to book on line appointment and it says to phone the surgery to get password. Complete joke.

Recent appointment

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

The appointment was for myself and partner for flu jabs only. We arrived 10 minutes early and were called straightaway, which was a pleasant surprise. We are fortunate to be in good health and rarely have need to see a doctor. However, as we are in our 70s and are likely to require some form of medical attention in the future, I feel concerned about the stories I hear from people and difficulties they experience in getting an appointment to see a doctor

Very positive experience

Phoned in the morning received triage phone call 9.40 and was in seeing doctor at 10.00.
The lady doctor I saw was caring, experienced and very helpful.
My problem is being addressed through tests etc.

Blood test appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

The treatment I received on the day from the nurse at my appointment was very good. However I have had no follow up contact or news about test results and what treatment I will need to help relieve my symptoms.
Also the amount of time I had to wait for my appointment which I was willing to have at any surgery in order to receive one sooner was very poor. Trying to get an appointment of any kind with the Portsdown Group is very difficult. They are a very poor practice.

I was attended to quickly

I had a good experience at the surgery. It was my first time there as I could not get an appointment at my surgery. I was attended to quickly and the nurse was very nice and friendly. she explained about the test she was going to carry out on me and how I would receive my results.
