I have been in pain with my carpal tunnel for some time now the doctor injected my wrists and actually listened to my complaints with much appreciation. He also went onto the computer to have it sorted out at the hospital I am very pleased with the consultation.

In response to letter from surgery calling me for fasting blood test had to wait 40 mins on phone to make appointment and earliest available was over 3 weeks later. Appointment itself on time with friendly practitioner. 2 days later phone call as borderline so need to repeat blood test = couldn't confirm if should be another fasting test and again 3 weeks to wait.

Recent appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

The GP was very understanding, knowledgeable and empathetic to my situation. I felt heard, then given a solution which made sense. I have since implemented the solution provided and already seen some massive improvements. My only gripe was in relation to the receptionist I spoke to in order to book the appointment. When attempting to describe my symptoms, some of which were very uncomfortable to talk about. She was dismissive as soon as I mentioned the FIRST of many symptoms and I felt I had to go straight into the personal symptoms for her to hear me. As it seemed like the second I spoke she wanted to hang up and get to the next client. The phone call lasted about 60 seconds and yet that was probably already 45 seconds longer than she wanted. I understand the pressure with appointments and the 8am rush. However, a balance needs to be struck between efficiency and kindness! Although, once in the surgery the person on reception was extremely accommodating and welcoming! Not sure who answered the phones.
