5 Year Health Review

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

A friendly welcome from the Nurse leading my age related checks, cardio vascular etc. The purpose of the appointment was clearly explained and I had the opportunity to ask questions. I raised another concern and was directed towards the online diagnosis system to find out more. Crookham is not my nearest surgery, but I am happy to drive out there when an appointment is convenient.

Appointment

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

My last appointment was a complete waste of time. I understand the fears with covid etc but I came to see a doctor about a lump I was concerned about. I was made to feel that because I've not had the jab time couldnt be spent on me.. I'm not an antivaxer. However I have my reasons for not wanting to have the vaccine and being made to feel that I was a leaper wasnt nice. Not happy with Paulsgrove surgery no.

Because the nurse and the reception lady wasn't so helpful after I said and showed the message I got from the practice to make appointment for my sons flu jab, they could've inquired straight away and my son could've give his flu jab, he had to miss his school for the appointment which he was entitled to. Wasn't happy at all with the surgery staffs behaviour.

Flu jab

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

This was my first visit to the surgery and I was impressed by the facilities, I only waited a few minutes after signing in before getting the jab While I was there the doctor told me I was overdue for tetanus and MMR vaccines, so I had those too. Very pleased.

I have luekimia and angina and ringing up for a routine appointment at 10am as requested as I have picked up a chest infection, finally got though 10.25a m only to be told that all slots have been taken , the lady suggests online booking to which I replied I am not computer literate, her best answer was tr y again tomorrow I might be lucky, I put the phone down, two days later I rang for an emergency appointment explained my situation doctor was back to me in 10 mins and all was sorted

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

After many attempts to get an appointment with the doctor at Summertown I finally got through to speak to some one on the telephone. I was then advised to go Kingston Crescent Surgery this is not my normal surgery but it was easy to locate but if the gentleman I spoke to sent me a text as he was going too it would have made things better. I had a twenty minute delay to my appointment but the waiting area was covid friendly. I was relieved to finally get an appointment as on previous occasion I had been advised that all appointment had been taken and to go the hospital and take paracetamol. I was then asked to make a appointment for a blood test which I did on line because I wished to go to my regular surgery, only to be advised thirty minutes after booking the appointment that it had to be changed due to staff sickness. It would have been good for someone to contact me because I need this blood test results back before my Hospital appointment.

Straightforward and nice and easy thanks, acknowledged my presence with the screen inside the open doors and wasn't long before I was seen, the lady Ms Dyer was so lovely and friendly she made me feel quite at ease, thank you.
