Blood test

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

It was two difficult appointments because medic was unable to get blood.
Medics were very kind and did their best; the second appt was success.

Appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Appointment for an ECG was booked with the wrong person. I was told a couple of hours before the appointment was due having already booked the pm off from work. So once again the practice prove themselves to be less than competent and responsive to patients needs. Am seriously thinking of leaving and going to a surgery where I can get an appointment to see a doctor and where mistakes do not happen.

My appointment was for a routine annual Flu Vaccination.
Checked in using the touch screen in reception and was seen within 5 minutes.
Very quick appointment with no issues or concerns.

I'm new to this practice ! Went for my appointment with nurse ( she asked why I'm having the procedure I was having & said I can tell you now it will b e ok so not sure why I'm doing this )!!!!!! I felt very distanced as my surgery at Hanway road were so happy friendly people who I knew well I've been wi th that practice 70 years & to have to change was a big thing for me & to be made to feel like I'm wasting nurses time has made me feel very isolated fro m this practice at my age !!!!!!! No I'm ok with it I've heard a lot of other people who have changed over feel the same as me unfortunately talking in the chemist !!

I was kept waiting rather a long time after my appointment time but I know that pressure is great at the moment however perhaps a notice board with approx. waiting times would be helpful. Once I saw the doctor things improved markedly. This young woman was welcoming and took great care in observing my problem and suggesting a different form of treatment. She also gave me my 'flu jab and one for shingles which I had previously enquired about. My husband also had his 'flu jab while we were at the surgery. This young doctor was most helpful and I would be very happy to consult with her in the future should the need arise.
