Recent experience

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

We arrived 10 minutes early for our appointments, signing in at the entrance on the machine and we’re told to wait to be called for our appointments (approximately 13 minutes). After 40 minutes we went to find the receptionist as there seemed to be no one else around (except the cleaners) and she apologised for our wait and said that the signing in machine wasn’t talking to the doctors computer, so the doctor had no idea we were waiting. Once she let the doctor know we were in and out in 5 minutes, but suggest that you let patient’s know that the signing in machine doesn’t seem to be very efficient and would probably be better to just wait in the queue for the receptionist.

Recent appointment

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I attended the surgery for my Flu vaccination. The check-in screen was not working. All equipment sometimes breaks down, but the issue was that no signage was put on the screen to say that it was broken and nobody came out to explain what the issue was and so a large queue formed which spread out into the car park. Everybody was queuing to register at the reception desk. When I started queuing there were two receptionists behind the desk, then one left and the other was left to manage on her own whilst also answering general enquiries, with the queue getting longer. Once I was able to register at the desk I was seen promptly by the nurse with no further issues.

Taking Blood.

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I recently had to have a blood test. I put my details in the appropriate log in as you go in to the Surgery. I was told there was one other person before me. I sat down to wait. The other person was called in. It wasn't long before my name was called. The Nurse was very friendly. She asked if I minded another person in there watching and learning. My blood came out quickly and cottonwool and tape was put on my arm and I was told if I didn't hear anything in 5 days time then that is good news.

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I stepped through the door four minutes before the appointment. I registered using the automated reception computer screen which was incredibly easy and fast to use. The waiting area I was directed to by the computer had only four people there, and I was called in about a minute before my appointment.
The Nurse was very friendly, fast, and efficient. The needle was absolutely painless, in fact, I didn't realise the jab had been done until the nurse said "all done" and went to sit down.
I was out just a minute or two after my appointment time.
Excellent service in every way. Thank you.
