We all appreciate the difficult circumstances all surgeries are working with and are really grateful for the ongoing service provided, however when a health concern arises it is so very worrying and frightening when finding It so difficult to be able to access a GP who then actually has time to listen and understand the concern.

I have no problem with the nurse l talk to, she phones when she says she is, and also the b12 nurse, but it is very hard to talk to doctor these days.

Very helpful

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Considering I was so limited as to the time I could see a Doctor because of my husbands hospital appointments, I was very impressed as to how helpful everyone was at the surgery. I was promptly called back by a doctor and given a time slot that fitted perfectly with my QA duties. The specialist I saw quickly diagnosed my problems and explained very clearly why I was getting a lot of pain. My sincere thanks to all involved with this.

Very inviting and friendly

The staff were very friendly, I was not kept waiting for long. The nurse administering my vaccinations had a very good bedside manner, the overall atmosphere of the surgery was very inviting and friendly.

I have been with this surgery for over 30 years and the service given is excellent. I have always found the entire staff, reception, nurses, doctors to be friendly, polite, well mannered and I'm made to feel that my health is very important to them.

Crookhorn Lane Surgery

My recent appointment for my flu jab was faultless. Quickly and efficiently done but the reason I haven't complied with previous review requests is because this is not my usual experience of how this practice is run.
Your appointment booking system is abysmal. Has caused many tears of frustration and quite frankly I think many people are put off calling and could therefore be putting themselves in danger by not being seen promptly.
I think it is a shame you have spread the practice far & wide and feel it is more a money making venture than a centre where caring for people is priority.
Having said that, I did manage to speak to Dr Mannings recently, having spent 45 minutes getting through (after having spent 30 mins the previous afternoon trying to get through, only to be told all appointments had gone for that day) and I would have absolutely no complaints about him.
I bet you wish you hadn't chased for a response now.

8 appointments, 4 lots of photos, still not closer on what it is, had swab test, not told outcome, told inflamed, if you scratch something for 5 months of course its inflamed.

Flu Jab

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

I arrived 5 minutes early and checked in via the screen. The waiting room was full but the chairs were spaced out re regulations. I was called in immediately and the nurse was extremely professional and friendly. The service I received was excellent but this was just for a flu jab and not to see the doctor.
