Flu injection

Waiting room was empty, sat for 2-3 minutes, then called in to have flu injection, a few questions then received my flu injection didn’t take long, but was previously booked to have flu injection at Kingston Crescent Surgery, turned up at 6.15 the doctors surgery was closed with shutters down and I was not informed that it was cancelled very disappointed I had not been informed or the rest of other people that turned up while I was there talking to other people there who also turned up (approx 20) happy with my experience at Somerstown surgery but disappointed never informed that previous booking was cancelled.

A O.K experience

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I had an emergency appointment regarding my lower bowel disorder. The nurse checked the area of concern then went and spoke to the duty doctor who suggested antibiotics were needed.
They were ready at the pharmacy next door in fifteen minutes.

I find all the staff at Somerstown Surgery very friendly. I was seen at my appointment time by a lovely nurse and whilst I was there she gave me my flu jab as well as my b12 injection which I was booked in for. Most helpful.

Somerstown Surgery appointment

Saw a junior doctor who was friendly but very professional. She did numerous tests and sought advice from a colleague when unsure. She offered help by referring me to others. I was given my flu jab then, enabling me to cancel my future appointment.
As we sign in on screen I had no interaction with the receptionist.

Though sometimes it’s very difficult to get appointments through receptionist at this Gp, I have lots of frustrating times in past, this time I was lucky. The nurse who did my blood test was very polite, welcoming and professional and reassuring.

Quick, efficient

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

The appointment at Somerstown was on-time, quick, efficient and I received my flu jab quickly and with no issues. The nurse was very polite and helpful.
I was disappointed to even need the appointment though. I had booked two weeks' prior on a Wednesday evening for my flu jab at Kingston Surgery (Weds 15th Sept). I was never informed that this appointment had been cancelled until I arrived there to find the surgery shut, and even then there was no note communicating the cancellation to customers - it was just 'word on the street' with other patients in the same position, none of whom had been informed.
