I am very impressed how quickly you all worked hard to get flu jabs and booster jabs done and how efficient Kingston was in delivering the appointments and carrying out the control of the amount of people there, well done, also thank you at the hub for getting back to me with my blood results.

Recent appointment

This is a review for Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

It was difficult to get parking and when I got there I was booked in but they failed to tell the person that I was there. I waited 15 minutes unnecessarily. They apologised apparently a glitch in their booking in process. Not the best experience I am afraid to say.

Parking is difficult anywhere in the City and this Surgery is located in a small road, where the parking is governed by the council, we therefore cannot make any changes to those arrangements. We are sorry that there was in a booking error that delayed you being seen, we will look into this and ensure that everything is put into place to prevent this issue reoccurring.

Highly recommend the surgery

The reception staff very helpful and attentive, asked to have flue jab on the same day as bloods and it was organised for me straight away.
The nurse who gave flue jab and taken bloods very helpful, put me at ease and very professional and would highly recommend the surgery again.

The staffs need more training. Calls can be handled better.
Actively listen to your patients when explaining the matter/query.
Be polite and have a better tone in your mannerism.

Flu Vax

My husband had to attend for a blood test and whilst there was invited to have the flu vaccination which he did. He then mentioned that I was in the car outside, so the Nurse said send her in and she can be vaccinated too.

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I had a blood test. Nurse was really nice talking to me and making me feel comfortable. Other than that problems with getting to see or speak to a doctor. It's a nightmare. Some reception staff are rude. Have been told if I'm not happy then leave. I'm seriously considering that. Thing's at Crookhorn surgery needs to change dramatically.

It was so hard to get a doctor appointment, I couldn’t even get one despite the fact that I need an actual appointment through the online up system. They put me on blood test instead. I didn’t even receive my result till now. Don’t know why I have to pay for the nhs every month without actually using their services.
