Removal of staples after total hip replacement

This is a review for Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

Staff were very welcoming happy and polite. Was surprised to find that there was no couch to lay on for removal of staples after a total hip replacement only 2wks previous. The nurse did say there was a couch somewhere, but I would have to climb up to it !! So I agreed to stand whilst she took 30 odd staples out!!

I recently transferred to this surgery and have received very efficient service! The appointments I’ve attended have had very little wait time, which is rare now due to the current situation with COVID-19. The nurse was very welcoming and explained things to me in an informative but kind fashion.

Good Online Appointment Booking

Not aware I'd dealt with Cosham Park House!

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I did request to speak with a Manager, regarding the appalling appointment system. I received a telephone call from a Practice Manager. As the Head Office is now supposedly at my surgery I thought this was from Kingston Crescent. I did make comments on behalf of a dementia carers' group, also concerning the appointment system.
I've also spoken with a pharmacist. - a very positive experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.
