Severe pain in kidney area. Phoned for urgent appointment. Seen in Rose Suite at Kingston Surgery the same day. Infection detected and antibiotics prescribed. Staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable and user friendly. Could not ask for a better service.

It was so good to be able to see a doctor after many months of trying to get an appointment. Still no definitive answer to my abdomen pain but hopefully a CT scan will provide an answer. Here's hoping the scan wont be too far in the future.

I was asked to attend following 2 episodes of passing out.
I had blood pressure taken and was advised to book an appt with a doctor.
I'm 95yrs old and it is nigh on impossible to get a Drs appt, everything is online and I have to rely on others to do things like this.
Why cant I just ring and have an appt f2f.

It annoys me that medications do not admit patients, they use nurses who do not have experience yet, they make a problem with admission and just ringing as if they had the authority to treat by telephone !!! and the next problem is when I asked for a referral to a specialist last time, they made a problem for me to send me there !!!

Thank you for your feedback. The contact centre and receptionists follow the guidance of the Doctors to ensure that the appointments are with the appropriate clinician. Clinicians can carryout the bulk of diagnosis over the telephone without the need of a face to face appointment.

No issues for this appointment but I do have problems getting my medication, as despite ringing the surgery I was told I still had medications left on my batch, however this was not true. I needed a blood test and a medical review which has now been arranged. This misinformation led to wasted time queuing at the pharmacy and phoning the surgery.

Unfortunately I am no longer satisfied with the service at Hayward Road Practice. It is extremely difficult to make an appointment to see a GP or to have a telephone appointment. The line for 'Urgent appointments' opens at 8am, but you have to start ringing constantly from 7.50am. If you are lucky enough to get through and be put in a queue then you have to hold for typically 20-30 minutes. Often by the time you get through appointments have gone. The same happens for 'routine appointments, which have a later call time making it difficult/impossible for working people to call.
The general enquiry line is only open for a few hours in the afternoon and typically I've had to hold for up to an hour to get through.
Sadly, test results and referrals I've had for myself or my children have not been passed onto me or followed up on. The only time I've been able to find out any information regarding my health issues or that of my children is by going into the surgery in person to find someone to ask. This is difficult to fit into your week when you're at work. The online information is not updated on the app, so it is also not possible to find out test results this way either. It feels as though I have to chase up everything.
I have an ongoing health issue since the beginning of the year as does my daughter. I do not feel that either of us have been looked after well. I am awaitiing the results of some tests and do not have the time to try to call every week for the results. My daughter has had blood tests and her physiotherapist has asked for referrals. I am still unsure as to whether these have been made.

The app does update real time with the information on your record, however sometimes it can take a while for results and updates from secondary care to be received and updated. We are constantly reviewing the service we offer and making changes where we can.

It was a bit confusing what to do when you arrived, there was a queue, but I managed to ask a nurse as she was leaving if I could check in automatically at the machine, as I assumed that it wasn't working, seeing the queue. It's not my usual surgery, and I'm sure that's the case for lots of people, so maybe a large sign over the machine to alert people to it would be useful.

Had some tests done 3 weeks ago NO INFORMATION !Went to chemist to get prescription hadn't been sent over had to revisit surgery Had appointment to s ee doctor got to surgery saw a nurse who then had to go to doctor and ask questions that I'd asked Told about making me a appointment at hospital haven' t heard anything since I would like to change surgeries from portsdown group I've lost confidence and patience in them
