Dr appointment following e consultation

The doctor I consulted at Hayward Road was very thorough and took her time to assess my problem and refer me on. She explained everything very well. The receptionist booked me in on my arrival and then booked a blood test efficiently. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional.

Blood test at the hub

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Can never fault Somerstown hub, as usual all on time the staff are so friendly and make you feel at ease. I just wish the rest of Portsdown practice was like this as it is nothing like that staff are rude and never on time but can never ever fault the hub brilliant every time.

Awful follow sevice

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I had a tel appt and was told I would have a letter of referral for dermatology sent and then wait for an appt. What actually happened was that I was sent a self referral form for Physiotherapy. I rang the surgery 3 times and went in once. 18 days later I am still waiting for the correct self referral form for Dermatology. How many requests does it take?

Quick and easy

I was greeted by a lovely lady at the reception desk who advised I could sign in on the machine. Then once my appointment had finished she helped by changing my appointment from the Crookhorn surgery to Somerstown so I don’t have to go so far.

Ear problem

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

It is the third time that I go to the surgery with the same ear pain problem and get again a prescription for antibiotics even if I told the doctor that I was already diagnosed with TMJ by my dentist.
After finishing the medication the ear pain still persists - a problem which is already lasting for nearly a year. So I will now try to resolve the problem with my dentist.
The doctor was very kind, but in my opinion the problem is again been treated superficially since it is a lasting pain.

Worst place ever

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I have never had such bad experiences with a drs in my life the staff are so rude to you and make you feel like a constant burden tutting and sighing at you after each question it’s impossible to get an appointment and if you are lucky enough to get one it will be a phone appointment. They never contact you with results and complaints are marked as resolved if you don’t answer the first time they ring back. They give brief diagnosis and never give you information on what it is meaning you have to research online to find out what they mean. If they do a test and it’s negative they don’t investigate further regardless if you are still unwell.

Appointment waiting time after e-consult

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

After phoning the surgery to get a non-emergency appointment, I've been advised to fill in an e-consult and the surgery was supposed to get in touch with me within 24hrs. They've sent a message that my case had been passed on to a consultant and they were to contact me within 5-10 working days. As nobody had contacted me within this time frame, I've clicked on a link from the e-consult email to remind the surgery to get in touch. Only after clicking on the link the second time, I've received a phone call with the appointment time.
