Where are the doctors?

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I am at a loss as to when you can see a doctor? I have been unable to see or talk to a doctor for over a year now!!! Even my physio appointment is via email! I feel I should have had a follow up appointment after my heart attack but this has not happened! I am in constant pain with my joints and cannot see a doctor!!!
I am discussed at the way the NHS is running at the moment and feel a private insurance with private health care has got to be better!

My visit to Cosham Park House Surgery

It was on a Friday morning that I got a phone call from Cosham Park House Surgery. From a woman asking me to go and see a doctor at 4:45 p.m. because he wanted to talk to me. I got to the surgery at 4:35. At 17-15 i got to see the doctor and I said to him can you tell me what you wish to talk to me about and he said I do not want to talk to me so this means I had traveled all that way because I was told over the phone that a doctor wanted to speak to me and it ended up he didn't to be frank I thought this was appalling which I told the doctor it wasn't good enough I was already suffering with a urine infection. I was not feeling very well in my opinion it was an absolute cock-up so all I can say they must improve

After quite a battle to speak to a GP and get referred to a clinical nurse, I was pleased with the professionalism and efficiency of the nurse. I thought my concerns over my condition were fully reviewed and diagnosed.

Delayed appointment

When I checked in, the message on screen was 0 minutes wait. However, I was kept waiting for 10 minutes whilst 2 practitioners discussed where a partner might be taking one of them in London. they speculated about The Shard etc. another patient had the same appointment time of 10.30am, both of us were becoming more and more agitated as we both needed to return to work. when i was finally called in for my injection, there was no niceties, just checked date of birth and name and stuck the needle in. very unusual for this practice.

Happy Visit

So I came in nervous about my visit. The lady I saw was probably one of the best I have ever had at an appointment.
She made me feel like she actually cared and wasn’t in a rush to get me out. If I could I would have this lady for every appointment I would.

Dr. gave me knee injection, very pleasant gentleman.

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Had above injections in both knees, was fine until putting shoe back on and strap broke, had to walk a long way back to car as didn’t know there was a car park. Dr had no surgical tape so asked receptionist if she had some sellotape, she found some tape and bound saddle to my foot. Was fine all the way back to the car and driving home. Thank you so much kind lady.

Blood Test

Appointment time was met, no waiting. The nurse taking the test was friendly and helpful putting me at ease as I am at the moment very stressed owing to me in the process of moving into sheltered housing and selling my present accommodation, decided with my consent not to take my blood pressure which was a relief to myself as I didn’t think at this time it would be a true picture and it was only taken 4 weeks previously.

Not happy

The service I have received here is terrible. 3 weeks of waiting for a response for a mental health form and nothing. Tried to get in contact yesterday to be told no appointments and to call back tomorrow. Called 111 who told me to call surgery and say he had sent an email saying I needed a mental health assessment but when I called they said they couldn’t see an email and to call back today.
