Echocardiogram

The HCSW performed an ECG on me. She explained the process in a kind and professional way.
She took the result straight to the doctor to review and told me he would ring me up later to discuss.

Surgery Visit

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

My appointment for blood pressure tests and an ECG was carried out on time and professionally by the nurse who took time to explain the processes and the doctor had requested I should wait for any further instructions. I was then told of further heart tests and I would receive a letter with an appointment in due course. The process was very reassuring.

Nurse very good. Practice/very poor

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

When I need to see a doctor I expect to see a doctor. I have a named doctor that I haven't seen in two and a half years, I have a condition which requires special treatment. My doctor is the clinical lead for respiratory diseases for the south of England, but I never get to see him.
Far too many barriers put in way to stop us seeing our doctor.
Technology does not help this situation.

Quickly dealt with on the day for the blood test..just do not agree with waiting 3 weeks for the appointment and I work for myself and could go anytime.

MMR & Tetanus injection.

This was suggested by the nurse when I went three weeks before, for hormone injection as part of my prostate cancer treatment. Was in the 1970's when I last had that injection, I think. Very pleased with the efficiency of Kingston Crescent Surgery.

Portsdown Group Practice

As always appointments with an of the practices branches are handled professionally and no adverse comments are called for.

However, the amount of time required to make an appointment or reach a member of the medical team is an extremely long and frustrating process.

The first obstacle is getting a line to speak to someone, which can take more than 30 to 45 minutes sometimes longer.

Very often getting a line takes hours as although retired I do not have all day to spend on the telephone ring to speak to someone.
