Kingston surgery

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

So difficult to guess which time slot may be the correct one to phone in and then have to resort to tears to get anyone to listen and not be dismissed to the life sapping e consult, maybe you need enough staff to cope with the tens of thousands of patients you wanted to merge and snap up the payments for?

I had an appointment for 11.30 am. I was just on time and the nurse was ready to take care of me. She explained everything to me and was prompt to give me my injection.

Blood test

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Arrived early for appointment, only waited five minutes and was called. Nurse took blood tests gave me my B12 injection and I was put before my appointment time. Excellent service.

Very efficient

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I normally go to Crookhorn Surgery but there was nobody there that day (why not?) so I had to go to Cosham (9.20, 26th July). I don't know the name of the doctor I saw but he was so thorough and took the time to ask the questions. He referred me for full blood tests and x-ray and he has even taken the trouble to refer me to the appropriate department, despite the results being quite positive, to eliminate any underlying causes of the problem. Cosham Park seems to be one of the better surgeries of Portsdown Group Practice.

Attention of staff

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

I have been attending Somerstown Surgery to have my cyst dressed over the last 6 weeks firstly every day and then twice weekly. I have found all the staff very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them that includes the receptionists and nursing staff.

No Complaints. My visit was easy and Doctor was very pleasant and professional.
4* for treatment is only because further treatment is awaiting X-ray and results/diagnosis.

Friendliness

I have been attending Somerstown Surgery to have my cyst dressed firstly every day and then twice a week for over 6 weeks now. I have found all the staff very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them that includes the receptionists and nursing staff in particular Vania who has been a great help to me. It seems to be a happy place.

Not happy

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

Saw an emergency dr as I took tablets I’d been prescribed previously and I came up in a rash so had an allergic reaction to them. I had not taken or done anything different. Was told if my symptoms persist try them again the following week to see if it happened again. I did not do this as it was uncomfortable in the first place. To me not good advice

Consultancy review

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

All of my contact with the GP has been online including information about treatment. I do not object to this where this can be done. However, what I do object to is being given timescales and them not being met by the practice.
I feel that the Portsdown Group since merging with other practices has become too big and can no longer cope with demand.
