Carefully worded questions

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

These questions only refer to the experience when you finally get through to see someone. The growth and combining of surgeries has seen Crookhorn move from a busy efficient one with Doctors working there. To a busy restricted one working with it's hands tied with administrative duties segregated and elsewhere to Doctor's ducking and diving all over. Never been so bad and that included pre Covid.

Phoneline & seeing a doctor

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Your telephone set up and trying to get someone to answer is rubbish can not get through even to cancel, trying to get an appointment it would be easier winning the lottery.

Paulsgrove Surgery

Friendly and well run. For anyone going there for the first time, Paulsgrove Surgery has it's own car park which (like the main entrance) is accessed from Deerhurst Crescent off Wooferton Road.

Although my husband came for injections, (which he doesn’t like!), we found everyone very helpful and friendly. I had a few queries to check out with the reception staff and I found them also very patient and helpful too - thank you!

Very slow reactions...

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

My opinion is not the best from my last two times with this practice. I opened online consultation, and must wait for more than a week for the answer, even if I wrote in the form I cannot work because the pain. After I lost my patience I went to the emergency in the hospital, there I can get an appointment with another GP within 2 hours...

Annoying feedback request

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

The surgery is fine but the constant need for a review is annoying to say the least. I have had about four final requests for a review. I shouldn't need to leave a review for a doctor's surgery.

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

When my wife phoned the surgery and said what was wrong with me they said to bring me down straight away. When the doctor could see me she called for an ambulance straight away as I had a temperature over 40 and a very bad infection and I didn't know where I was or who I was as I was very ill and confused, so thank you to the doctor who saw me and acted so quickly.

Vitamin B12 injection.

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

Attended The Surgery for my three monthly Vitamin B12 Jab. All went well. Nurse in attendance Jane. While there, I was given a date for my Diabetic Review; again to be held at the Paulsgrove surgery on Monday 26th July. I find attending this surgery most convenient, as it is only 5 minutes walk from my home, and saves getting a bus to Cosham if I was required to attend an appointment at Cosham Park House Surgery. Receptionist and staff at Paulsgrove always kind and considerate. 10 out of 10 !

An improving experience

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I have had difficulties with the surgery in the past but on the last few occasions they have been much improved. This is especially notable given the current circumstances. They have really helped with getting appointments done and tests completed. The staff work hard despite obvious difficulties and it is much appreciated.
