Help At Last.

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I would just like to say how thankful we are to Vicky Willcox and Nurse Practitioner Todd, for listening and helping and getting my Husband`s blood pressure down. We had been trying for at least 4 weeks to see a doctor or even talk to one. My Husband could not start his New cancer drug without lowering his Blood pressure, the tablet he was on did not agree with him so Todd put him on a stronger dose of Furosemide, within 2 days it was going down. We can`t thank them enough. The girls at reception are great and do what they can with their hands tied behind their backs. We have been with this surgery since 1982, and I know we have had a Lockdown, but people just now and again need to see a Doctor to be reassured. It`s a great Practice we would just like to see a doctor now and again, Thank you.

ECG and Blood Test

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

In order to have an ECG and blood test as quickly as possible I opted to travel out of Southsea and go to Crookhorn Lane Surgery. The staff were polite, thorough and very professional and the service was well worth the travel involved.

Awful to get an appointment but great once you can.

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I have to repeatedly redial, try online for weeks at a time, within very small time slots to ever get an appointment, even for regular routine things, that are required periodically. It seems the practice is just making it harder to actually speak to health care professionals now. Once you actually manage to see or speak to someone, they are great but the practice really needs to resolve this, as I know I am not the only one and it has affected existing conditions for a number of people, not receiving adequate treatment efficiently.

Scalp problem - not sure what it was and sent photos

I tried to book an appointment about this, but was told to try econsult. Once this worked it took a very long time to get a response. I did press the button to show I had not had a reply within 24+ hours. I had tried treating the problem but although it went away it always came back, and then the condition started to spread. The 1st treatment seems to be working well. I am about to start the shampoo, which I am reluctant to do as it contains SLS, which is very bad for the skin. It would be a good idea to prescribe treatments that do not have such products, which is possible. All my shampoos and conditioners are free from SLS and other harmful products.

Nurse was very nice, explained everything. Made me feel very comfortable. Also informed me I could have a tetanus booster after my covid jab. Which I was not aware and could have it with no appt in the surgery after a 2 week period.

Visited for vaccinations

I received a text to book in for a tetanus vaccine. Booked through the text. Arrived a few minutes early. Booked in to be told I was at the wrong site ! Could not believe my mistake. Obviously apologised profusely and asked if I could rebook. The receptionist asked me to wait a moment and came back to say the duty GP will do that for you as soon as he is free. Brilliant service. Have been a patient for a lot years and I appreciate everything as team Kingston Crescent has done for my family and I. Thank you. Also whilst there the GP realised I needed a mmr so double jabbed!

Very poor service. I don't think they are real doctors need looking into, they don't do their job properly, very scary peoples life's at risk. Dr Ozard is very bad doctor I would like to know how to complain officially, he has been getting away with not bothering to do his job for a year why do not get sacked.
