It was fast and the people professional and kind.

The econsult is very good but I would rather see a dr face to face.

Getting to see a Gp face to face or for someone to answer the phone is proving to be too difficult.

Attended for stiches removal.

Blood Test for monitoring of medication.

I have been suffering with severe knee pain. I am waiting for a referral to see the orthopaedic specialist. I was told by the doctor that everyone who is waiting has the same pain as me. I was told by the hospital to get the doctor to write a letter to speed up my appointment. I was told by the doctor that i need to wait. Basically i was spoken to as if i was a child. That i should wait as i have the same pain as everyone else. I don't know how the doctor can say that my pain is any more or any less than other people's. I know that there are many people waiting for appointments. However i have had this problem for over a year before i was even sent for an xray. I've been patient. This issue i have has been life changing affecting my mental health and physical health. Appreciate that we have been in an pandemic but feel that my welfare has been neglected.

The reception staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, the surgery feels welcoming and warm. THe Doctors are fantastic as are the nurses, I can't fault anything.

Painless, bloods taken very quick and confident nurse took the blood, very relaxed calm experience.

Attended the practice for a tetanus jab.

Easy and efficient

It takes forever to get through to the surgery. You aren’t just placed on hold straight away. If there are too many people waiting then you are just cut off! I was incorrectly told by one of the receptionists that I couldn’t have my second covid jab yet despite already having my first one. And I wasn’t given an appt for my 4 month old who was unwell. It was all done via the phone. Eventually after her being unwell for 5 weeks they agreed to see her and she actually had bronchiolitis. This should have been picked up sooner. She was given antibiotics the week before because a doctor over the phone assumed she had a chest infection! She reacted to these and was going to the toilet 10 times a day! When she was diagnosed with bronchiolitis I was told the antibiotics won’t help with this as it usually tends to go on its own but because she’s been prescribed it she must continue it until she’s finished the course. I asked a receptionist at the crookhorn surgery if I could book my smear as I had received a letter saying I am due one. She refused as I had not long had a baby. I explained that I had had her by caesarean. So surely it would be different? And she didn’t know. Wouldn’t find out for me either. Despite me being there at the desk and told me to call up! I don’t have time to sit down and keep trying to call my drs surgery 50 times a day when I have a new baby. The receptionists need to be retrained. I have only ever had one great receptionist since they took over hanway and that’s Andrea! Other than that everyone needs to be retrained!

Very Poor ladies at desk very good but they can only do so much the service is just bad.

I 've been registered in few other surgeries. This is the only one surgery I am happy with.

Was quite pleased I managed to get an appointment at short notice. Very polite doctor, thorough and referred me for a hospital review straight away although my breathing was quite bad on the day which resulted in me having to call an ambulance later that day and admitted to QA, which the doctors at QA were surprised wasnt picked up on earlier. But otherwise was a thorough doctor.

Really pleased with the nurse I saw Jane, explained everything she was doing and why in-depth, that was interesting and the first time that had been explained in full. Was polite and friendly and showed genuine concern on my blood pressure and weight. Emailed my doctor with my readings straight away.

Following experiencing chest pains the previous evening the surgery arranged an early appointment the following morning. I was seen by the practice nurse who did the standard checks and diagnosed the cause. She was extremely helpful and arranged for me to have other routine checks.

Longish wait but that's to be expected at the moment, really impressed with the doctor and how thorough he was.

Blood test at Crookhorn surgery very efficient and painless. My main concern is the major problems over access to appointments via telephone line and particularly access to urgent medicines. ie. blood thinners as prescribed by QA. Cosham(?) not my Crookhorn surgery had no knowledge of this although yet again sent down there. Overall communication not good although I appreciate doctors are very busy.
