Visit to GP

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

The Gp telephoned me in response to my on-line request, 10 days later. Initial enquiry was in relation to HRT but because I have an on-going lower back complaint he offered to see me, which was kind although it was a pointless exercise, as all he could do was give me more painkillers instead of trying to resolve the position. He also said he couldn't refer me to specialist. I had to contact physiotherapist and they make the assessment. I'm in acute pain and cannot walk without being in agony despite having an MRI scan on lower back. No one wants to help me and i don't want to keep taking drugs that make me feel awful.

Nurse appointment

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Went to this surgery for my B12 injection. Very prompt service at checking in by using the machine. Sat down for about a minute before I was called. Lovely nurse. In and out within five minutes. Excellent service.

Good outcome to my econsults

I recently used the econsult service. It is frustrating to have to wait a little while for a substantive response but this is the same I understand for all GP surgeries in these difficult times.
However the replies I received did address the reasons I contacted the practice.

Need to see a doctor

Trying to get to see a doctor is the worst most stressful thing I've had in years.
Three weeks of continuously phoning every day. Speaking to someone twice in that time to be told there is no room for me to be seen.
It was the same stressful time trying to book a blood test for my disabled son.
Getting into see a doctor these days it’s like winning the lottery it’s absolutely disgusting that you cannot talk to anyone and that you keep getting cut off by an automated person.
I have lost all faith in my local GP surgery.
