Poor comms and timekeeping

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

I have now attended for 4 blood tests without explanation. The latest was scheduled for 0800 - the beginning of the day. The HCA did not arrive until after 0800 and my appointment started 10 minutes late without explanation. I have never had a problem with blood tests but on this occasion it took 4 attempts to get the blood.

Without detail I cannot comment but can reassure that our staff arrive in time to set up and login to the clinical system in readiness for first appointment, so we are sure this is an exceptional issue.

Blood test requested by Southampton Hospital

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Request paperwork from SH not acceptable on its own, it needed to be accompanied by Crookhorn Surgery document(bar code verification). Unfortunately, no clinician was indicated on CS form. Expected results were expected to be visible on your System by 28/06. When nothing appeared by30/06 I went to CS where a very helpful receptionist after much effort gave me a printout copy of the results. My concern is that because no clinician indicated the results are unlikely to be reviewed at CS or be available on your system.

My only complaint is the lack of parking space at the surgery. I had to park 3 streets away.

Crookhorn Surgery is a little further from home but it does have parking and from my own experience it's a good practice. I visited recently for fasting blood test, it was quick efficient and a pleasant experience.

Copd, medication

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Spoke with nurse, or member of staff at Crookhorn Surgery asked me about ongoing medication, i.e."Ensure Inhaler" and "Ventolin Evohaler" after I filled in an online questionnaire about my health, and breathing problems.
The person I spoke with was very helpful, texting me, and sending email's about how to re-order both items when needed.
The lady, or nurse I spoke with has made a follow up pnone call appointment with me on 21st July to see how things are going, and if I need further assistance, couldn't ask for better service, found her to be very helpful.

First ever visit to the Cosham surgery.

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Having never been to this surgery, I walked to the surgery on the approach l was looking for any signage to direct me, nothing jumped out at me to tell me to turn to the right as l approached the gates, it’s only when l saw the chemist that l must be in the area. A sliding door opened and l walked Into waiting room 2 before the receptionist attracted my attention by calling out to me which was a help as l was slightly confused as to where l should go.
