A step back in time a filthy place

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Hideous. A very nice receptionist poor Kevin having to work in a dirty stuffy horrid place. Directed to a “ pod. A screen behind a blood pressure monitor etc. Filthy, no sleeve cleaner, expected to put your arm in after god knows how many to get a BP Reading which was requested by GP. I had sanitizer on me luckily but still felt unclean and def not Covid safe !! Kept waiting for my tetanus spot, no apology given, a verbal chastisement by the nurse as no electronic record of my history etc!! That’s not my fault, offered an MIR, scan what for !! As no history vaccine of injections except covid why would I take a valuable apt away from someone in real need ridiculous.

Thank you for your feedback. The building itself is very old, but refute that it is "filthy". There should always be a supply of one use sleeves available at the pod, we are sorry of this was not the case and will ensure that this is not an issue going forward.

I went to Cosham Park Surgery after getting a text to attend to bring my vaccination record up to date. I arrived at the surgery early with my husband who was due the same. The receptionist was polite and helpful. After five minutes we were both called into see Dr Kyd who explained all in a friendly way and gave the injections to us both

Having received an invitation to attend Park House surgery for non covid vaccinations I was received by a polite and friendly receptionist, the doctor, Dr. Kyd, called me in on time It was explained why I was there and what treatment was needed to bring vaccination record up to date. Having consented the treatment was carried out in an efficient way. Very pleased with the whole visit and treatment

I can say is not time waster and straight forward with a mention; my English language is not advance specially in technical words and I'm not sure how precise I was when I answer that online consultation from my phone. For blood test I can say I'm very happy, the appointment was in time and everything happened fast.

Having been called by Duty GP at 8 am I was given an appointment at Cosham Park House for ten the same day! My experience was brilliant, I had a thorough examination and was asked lots of relevant questions. The information given me has helped and I have been given an appointment for a blood test to try and provide further details for any subsequent treatment.

Having being prescribed Bisoprolol 2.5mg was concerned about heart rate dropping. After speaking to a doctor was changed to a lower dose with a review planned for 3 weeks later.
