Sadly, just awful

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I had developed an ear infection that was affecting my balance and hearing. After being told I couldn't speak to a doctor due to triage being full I conducted an e-consult. A week later I had a message to say it had been read and subsequently haven't heard anything since. A terrible experience which will probably lead me to changing surgeries very soon.

Thank you for your feedback. We have had a surge in demand for eConsults that has led to a longer turnaround than expected. We are making changes that will improve this, however it will take a while for patients to notice the improvements.

Smear

This is a review for Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

This is not my normal surgery. For the first time ever I was so nervous about this smear. I’m not sure why. The receptionist was very friendly. The two nurses I saw were so nice. They made me feel relaxed and before I knew it my appointment was over. Thank you to all of the staff.

Really excellent - Andy, physio was so thorough. Really helpful tested most things he could but we still do not know what is wrong really. As for my experience- no complaints.

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

I have requested a doctor's letter a month ago and I've heard nothing. I have not received my prescription, it's not at my pharmacy and no one has replied to my request online for it to be sorted. You are supposed to look after me when I need you and you are not. I am considering moving to a different group practice.

I had to have a blood test. Hayley was brilliant - so kind and helpful. She went above and beyond.
I have now been told I must make an urgent appointment to see my GP.
I've been on line and phoned several times - no available appointments!!
