I was seen the same morning with my problem and a lovely HCA also squeezed me in for a fasting blood test. Very happy with visit.

Econsult, well I’ve tried it more than once, thought it was a fluke first time, so I am shocked and disappointed. I work for the NHS and starting to feel embarrassed and unable to keep up an argument over poor service we are all providing, however seriously disappointed with my own treatment and care over the last 10 months or so, the cancer pathway was an exception due to it being what it was, but shouldn’t all treatments and care be given to all patients regardless. It’s now time to start caring more for patients, back to basics of care, speaking to patients more quickly, triage sooner, sort accordingly.
For an econsult to take 8 days is unacceptable and I still feel I was fobbed off to be fair, how can someone assess a problem I know I have, not see results and just give medication. It is becoming more and more guess work. Extremely disappointed.

Quality of treatment I cannot fault, also personality of all nursing staff is amazing. The only problem I have is with text and MJog reminders, would it not be possible to add the name of the surgery you will be attending.

I had great difficulty getting a phone appointment, but once I was eventually able to speak to the doctor, I was seen straight away, and was treated efficiently and with consideration and respect.

It was my first time at the surgery via an online consultation. Everything was efficient and thorough.

Total care and consideration given by the Doctor seen, understood the circumstances and acted accordingly.

I recently had my medication stopped because I needed a medication review, so I rang in to get an appointment and told that I just need to ring in each day until there is an available appt, I expressed my concern that my medication would run out in a week and was told "well just keep trying" which I did for 4 days. Prior to this, I had chased at the pharmacy who said they would re order it, they obviously did not see the medication review request on their screens ?? I requested an e consult and received an email saying the doctor would ring me around 5.30 the next day but I received no call so I updated my account as requested, I never did receive an appointment. I was becoming concerned.

I thought then i would request an appt with a health specialist and ask at that and when i attended the surgery was told that i had requested bloods and you arent allowed to do this...........i didnt realise that was what i needed to do and the receptionist said i was now marked as non attendance for a blood test !!! However, when i explained the situation to the receptionist she advised me that my medication wouldnt be stopped. I asked her to look at my account as she was not correct, she again repeated herself that i wouldnt be stopped and then acknowledged that i had and she would get me an appt to speak to a pharmacist. She said i should have come into the surgery with my request for a medication review so why didnt the call centre lady say that ??? SO i had my pharmacy review and was advised i must have blood tests etc which i had already finally been able to arrange. I made 5 call centres calls, 3 extra visits to the pharmarcy and non complied to 1 requested appt.

What i found is that the call centre/ pharmacy/ reception area do not all know the information they need to give to help solve a problem, I was told by the pharmacy to talk to reception, who told be to talk to the pharmacy and the call centre were the same. I feel the amount of extra time spent sorting this out would make some people very stressed out, im luckily i am computer literate, i am able to communicate well and even i wondered if would ever get this resolved........

But when you have an appointment the staff are friendly and i do like the experience. It just such a waste of time taken to resolve any issues. This is not the first time this has happened so I believe my concern has some validity because similar has happened in the past. Thank you

The nurse that gives me my b12 injection is always so nice, friendly and polite.

The staff were friendly and the doctor explained everything before starting. A painless procedure.

Very good and efficient service by the doctor and receptionist.

l wasn't sure about what l came in for, l asked him a few questions and he took his time to answer me and it made me understand everything he said.

The doctor who called me was really approachable and I felt really listened to. She was able to answer all my questions and came up with a course of action that was clear and left me feeling less anxious and confident of the next steps available to me.

Once in the surgery it was excellent but trying to phone to make an appointment I tried for 4 days and was told to put the phone down and try again had to go to the surgery in the end Ok

I had a medication review for an ongoing condition. I was telephoned at the appointed time, the medic was very helpful and friendly and my prescription was sent through to the pharmacy. We also discussed a follow up review in a month’s time which was helpful.
