20 minutes delay for n apparent reason

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

When I arrived at the surgery, no one else was waiting. No others came in until over 15 minutes past my appointment time. I was eventually seen more than 20 minutes late. Staff were very pleasant but unfortunately 20 mins late was a poor performance in my view.

Thank you for your feedback. A quiet waiting room does not mean a quiet consultation room. The clinician may have been dealing with an emergency or very unwell patient prior to your appointment. As we are unable to predict these instances, we would have been unable to inform you on arrival.

The Surgery should have its own telephone number

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

The nurse ticked all the boxes of excellent care and service. However I am very frustrated and feel let down by with the way of getting appointments and not getting to speak to an actual person and left going round and around on the answer machine. The online procedure also needs to be adjusted so you don't need to keep going back so you are not directed to A&E and request to get a doctor to speak to you.

Positive and enjoyable experience

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

The actual time spent in the doctors surgery was a positive and enjoyable experience. My appointment was great from an interactive experience, everything was explained to me and was carried out with the utmost care and efficiency. Everyone I come in contact with whether in person or on the phone have always provided me with great service.
Booking appointments online could do with improvement. In order to book this appointment I visited the surgery in person as it wasn't clear how I should do it online. The only spaces were for smear tests and immunisation for children? When I spoke to the reception in person, my appointment was booked for the following week so no complaints there.

Recent visit to the Surgery

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I needed to see a doctor to get some injections in my hand. During the visit I explained the issues I was having and was referred for further investigations to the hand team at the hospital. Not only was my appointment on time but I had the secondary issue dealt with which was fantastic. Best Doctors I have ever had.
