I’ve attended for a X-ray and had no feedback from the surgery I looked on my online records to find out the result as normal there’s been no contact from the surgery it said the patient has been told the results of the X-ray it’s blatant lies also there radiography guy said a special referred and investigation need , the surgery’s response on my record borderline no action needed . Called to get a repeat prescription no allocated call slots available..ordered on e consul sent a text saying call the surgery option 1

Suppose it be another two weeks to get the meds I need

Please do not join this surgery there failing are not only dangerous but poor service

Efficient Surgery

I have been a patient for about 2 years now since moving to the area. The practice operates efficiently and if I can't get an appointment in my local practice, I can be booked in within other practices that are part of the Portsdown Group. All the staff I have met have been nice and pleasant. All my queries have been answered. However I did also ask for a copy of my patient notes, which took over 3 months to receive and I had a deadline to submit it to the people that required it. It would be better if some services as simple as note releasing would operate quicker. However despite the current pandemic situation it is understandable and can't be faulted all in all.

Thank you for the 5 star review and it's really good to hear that you frequently have a positive experience across our sites. National guidance for providing copies of medical records is 90 days. This was increased during the pandemic and we have seen a surge in requests from patients - regrettably this did impact our usual timescales. We are currently turning them around well within this timescale and are regularly monitoring to improve on this. In the meantime, you can request full record access to your medical records online, which can often provide you the information you need.

What can I say, I was impressed with the whole event, even to the point that while my regular Nurse is on leave, or just taking a break, there was already another Nurse ready and waiting to take over the duties to keep my treatment continual without a break, thus it appears to be healing quite well.

High blood pressure and Palpitations

Initially saw a doctor on 26 April concerning my high blood pressure. He prescribed me a beta blocker to supplement my existing Blood pressure medication (Irbesartan) . I then attended Paulsgrove surgery again on Thursday 29th April for an ECG examination.

We are sorry that you found our Reception staff were "icy" we would like to assure you that all of our staff are fully trained in customer care. They do, however, work in what can, at times, be a stressful environment and have to endure unacceptable levels of abuse.
