Arrived late after big traffic hold up and the receptionist went out of her way to enable my appointment to be dealt with by a different nurse, for which I was very grateful. I was fitted in and dealt with professionally and in a friendly manner.

I needed a referral asap and struggled to get an appointment. One of the receptionists gave me some advice on how to do this online. Within 24 hours, I have a message regarding a referral for myself. I was very happy with the advice given.

Getting an appointment over the phone is never a good experience and online system is a joke.
Otherwise I can't complain, the staff is fantastic, helpful, polite, great doctors, I literally trust them with my life.

Ventilation

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I had an ECG, bloods taken and an ear swab. (Which I did, and would advise that as best practice, as the nurse wouldn't have got anything, for fear of causing pain or perforation, which is understandable).
All was GREAT apart from:- there was ZERO ventilation in the little room.
The nurse didn't seem at all bothered.

The Staff for the most part were polite, but to be honest it's sad seeing the bored annoyed stressed faces of the reception staff treating the elderly with little regard, and the way the electronic check in slowed down the process of admittance than actually speeding it up, was farcical. It's a great practedious or annoying.

They do, however, work in what can, at times, be a stressful environment and have to endure unacceptable levels of abuse. Parking!

Appointment for damaged knee, could hardly walk.
Tried to secure a parking slot by driving round in and out 3 times, gave up, had to walk painfully from the high street - needs improving - assume all staff are off site?

Yes, staff are encouraged to park off site - obviously some have requirements to be nearer. During COVID clinics all staff park away from site as we know it is going to be exceptionally busy.

Unfortunately, parking is exceptionally limited and we are fortunate that the majority of our sites have parking, however limited - as other surgeries in the city do not - or it is time limited and chargeable.
