The doctor's are thorough and efficient without feeling that you are being rushed. The problem is trying to get in to see a doctor, it is almost impossible to arrange an appointment with the limited time frame that you can phone for an appointment.

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery
My visit today was for a emergency health issue which involved a physical assessment. The staff in reception were friendly today along with the specialist who I had an appointment with. In general I have no problems with both this surgery and somerstown surgery which is my main GP for this Portadown group practice.

Trying to make an appointment
This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery
Trying to make appointment is a nightmare so now I go to surgery to do so. Staff always helpful, doctors and nurses also good. Trying to get through to the call centre is frustrating, expensive and stressful.

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery
I find it diificult to comment really. I called because I had the above complaint and was examined and received advice from a Doctor or Clinician. I was perfectly satisfied with the result and would call again. I had a fixed appointment time and was attended to more or less straight away.

Well organised and lovely staff

Couldn’t have asked or a better experience. Clear and concise instructions re: signing in for appointments on the screen and COVID regulations. Every staff member I spoke to were friendly and helpful, my nurse who saw me was incredibly lovely, cheerful and made me feel very comfortable during my routine appointment

Safe and reassurance
This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery
Following e consultation Dr arranged appointment at Kingston, not my normal surgery (Crookhorn) asked if I was able to make own way so to reduce waiting time. Safe distancing in waiting room advised slight delay by reception but less than 10 minutes. Dr Nicholson checked that symptoms were still current followed by examination, no tenderness found but advice given also on potential hand issues, came away reassured and with advice overall felt safe in surgery and a Dr very pleasant and reassuring.

My surgery is second to none. During this pandemic they have worked tirelessly. Even under these stressful times they still make sure that the care they give their patients is first class. Shoulder injury, useless surgery

I visited the surgery in October 20 for a shoulder assessment, I was told I would get a cortizone injection within a few days as I was on a list, after two months no calls I called and was told there are no appointments, four months later still no appointments and the surgery which takes over an hour on a call centre to answer told me they would have to put me on a list that I was already on, I was then asked to self refer to a physio that I had already done, I was then told I was going round in circles and to go private, I was told to ring a private doctor and pay 40 pounds for an assessment, I have self assessed and visited the Cosham practice to get my log in to receive my blood results which of no surprise does not work, so I am left again phoning a service which does not work.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologise that there has been confusion around steroid injections. We do hold a waiting list of patients, but this service has been postponed due to COVID. We are waiting to be told when we can resume as it is out of our control. In the meantime, self referral to physio would be something we would recommend and you can, of course, go privately if that is possible and something you wish to pursue.
Please can you contact the Operations Team with regard to waiting for over an hour on the phone. Our longest waiting times are nowhere near 60 minutes during peak periods and so, if you can provide us with time and date information (as well as the number you called from) then we can ask our supplier to track the call and see if there was an issue that we can resolve.

I arrived 5 mins early as had to get lift...was rudly told to wait.
Said I couldn't wait inside which is strange as my appointment week earlier I did for 15 mins.
I advised in a lot of pain and would have to sit on wall. And asked if he could come shout me when time.
Time went by, nothing, so I queued up to be told too late now.
Then had a cheek to send me a text message! Saying I didnt turn up.
