Phoned up and got seen the same day which was good, my issue is still ongoing.

I found that the person who I saw very helpful and made my experience very comfortable as I have not been to that surgery before and would go there again.

You do a good job.

Initially had difficulty getting to connect (voicemail wouldn't let me get to right selection it took 6 attempts and 15 mins ) but otherwise it was very good.

I arrange regular blood pressure checks with the Nurse, due to my aortic aneurism and the associated blood pressure medications that I have to take.
Appointments are always on time - and are very pleasant experiences and always carried out efficiently.

I didn't have to wait!

Staff, informative, interested and kind.

There really is too much to explain fully but in a nutshell, in the last 6 months it has become near important to get an appointment, it takes a week for an econsult response etc

My mum had zero input following a heart attack and she should have been having weekly blood pressure readings and fortnightly blood tests. She was fobbed off by the doctors and reception staff alike when she had issues with medication and they didn’t respond to the hospital cardiac team or a separate complaint for over a week.
Both mum and myself were sent to the hospital for blood tests when they don’t take walk ins. They were thoroughly unhelpful on the phone so we ended up walking in the surgery just to speak to a member of staff who would help. The poor woman in question was running the door, the phone and the desk and was very nice despite being completely flustered.
My husband had repeat prescriptions not signed off several times and this took several phone calls every time he needed his renewal.
A hospital referral for my dad was not passed on, he was in agony for months because of torn shoulder tendons. Again, lots of calls and complaints just to get basic care.

Honestly, they just don’t seem to care. We are moving surgeries as soon as my mum’s various (late) follow ups for her heart attack are completed. It can take up to 6 weeks for her records to be transferred over so we don’t want to do so until she’s not actively getting tests and treatment.

I found this surgery very pleasant and was nice to be able to see a female doctor, something my usual Crookhorn one hasn't had for a long time. I understand they have doctors on maternity leave but there are just some personal reasons us ladies would rather see a female.

Making appointment and ordering medication is so much better now I can do it on line.

It was a telephone appointment, I sent a photo of the infected nail and a diagnosis was made and a prescription issued.

Held inaccurate data about my medical history, felt forced to have treatment which turned out to be unnecessary, made complaint but no apology. Very unpleasant experience.
