Appointment

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Nurse was quick to react to a problem that was made when making my appointment. I was booking in for a B12 injection instead of my depo. Nurse was quickly able to note the problem and sort out the injection I needed. Happy staff.

It was an "on the day" appointment following a telephone discussion with a G.P.
Kingston Crescent is not my usual surgery and so I was unfamiliar with it. The "Screen Log In" was not working and so I was still waiting for the receptionist to log me in, beyond my appointment time.

Fear of needles / blood tests!

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I hate needles and have a real fear of blood tests.
The nurse was friendly, helpful and patient and made this a manageable experience.

I used e consult call came through from the doctor. Blood test next day and physio booked on the spot. Given the pandemic situation this was more than I expected. Thank you!

Chest infection

Phone calls and visits to surgery

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Practitioner, GP and nurse all friendly and thorough. Everything actioned as promised. Accessing your services via NHS app a bit laborious but worked every time. Phlebotomy painless. Only criticism is receptionist policy of no eye contact, no acknowledgment, no welcome. Until they realised I was a fellow medical professional, then they were Fawlty-esque in their effusiveness.

Still waiting for an email ir text

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I was trying to get a GP to talk to me re my 7 years old's ezcema problem. I missed a call from the GP so I had to fill the forms again for a econsult. Finally the doctor/gp who I was able to talk to told me that she'll send me a text/email to download a photo of my son's condition. Still waiting for it.
At the end I gave in...so I am lucky my son is fine with his ezcema.
So overall my experience is not great.
