Covid vaccination

An extremely well organised clinic where patients were in and out of the surgery very efficiently but without feeling like a conveyor belt. The personal touch was still evident. Thank you.

Poor Service

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I had an E consult with Dr Dave who arranged a blood test, who said he would phone me back the next day. I phoned a week later to be told by the receptionist that all was fine, and no further action was required. She also said she would put a note on Dr Dave's page to call me.
A week further on and I am still waiting for a phone call, I'm beginning to think that customer care has been put on the back burner in place of expansion.
I still have restless leg syndrome, I'm still not sleeping well, I'm still keeping the wife awake at night and I'm loosing faith in the practice.

Appointment for Ear Infection

I was very happy with my appointment and diagnosis. It was very efficient and professional. I am coming to the end of the tablets prescribed and the infection is much better, although not totally gone yet, so another consultation may be necessary.

Trying to get the appointment was by no means easy. Tried to get an appointment a week prior to this, but could not get one so had to go to the walk in clinic at St Mary's for treatment. Was told to see a dr if condition did not improve and so after several attempts finally got an appointment

Fantastic service

Always feel safe and all the staff so lovely cannot fault them, 100per cent feel safe and looked after, always treated with respect, no improvement needed just a big pay rise, this last year has been really difficult but they always give a fantastic service.

I spoke about my headaches whether migraine or cluster and was told, this is one appointment we can only talk about one thing. Both things are headache I would say I experienced one symptom on one occasion and then dr would summarise and suggest I said every time I was having a symptom, didn't seem to be listening, the specifics were quite important to me as it is indicative of my migraines changing from occasionally to every day for (then) 2 weeks, now 3, with a change in symptom. I stated I previously had a medication as a preventative, Dr said 'is that what you're trying to get'. Actually what I was trying to get was some advice regarding daily migraines which are affecting my day to day work, ability to drive and my sleep. I got six sumatriptan to take at onset of symptoms. Daily migraines, six tablets.Not helpful, I didn't feel listened to and the medication lasted all of 3 days.Keen to change GP

Slick & Quick

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

My husband and I had received a telephone call the previous evening asking if we could attend the surgery the next morning for a Covid vaccination. We said yes and turned up the next morning and joined a lengthy queue. But this queue was moving fast and within just a couple of minutes we had both been signed in and vaccinated. After a 15 minutes wait to check for any reactions we were on our way back home. This was the NHS system working flawlessly.

I easily signed in using the computer system but I had a few questions, the lady on reception was so helpful and answered all my questions always with a smile! I didn’t have to wait long, the waiting are was clean and well spaced out. My time with the nurse was very efficient.
