Very efficient and friendly staff felt the hca was lovely and reassuring and made me feel confident in her abilities. New from Hanway and so far been very impressed. Was advised to buy a bp machine to use at home which I have done.

Good response and approach

I am satisfied with the results I got from the practice not because it both came out negative but I was encouraged to go further for more enquires because of the calm approach and explanation given, it didn't make me give up.

I had a very good experience after completing an econsult. The surgery contacted me the next day and I had a call back from a Dr within a couple of hours. The Dr was extremely helpful.

E consult

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I made a special medicine request. I was told to fill in an e consult. I filled in an e consult in great detail. I had a phone call telling me I would receive a phone call consultation the following day. I got a text saying my request had been approved instead. Due to the time of my online request and the time my prescription was ready for collection I ran out of my tablets. On the packet it states, do not stop taking medication unless advised by a doctor.

I am disappointed with the communication surrounding my recent diabetes diagnosis. The original doctor told me I had diabetes and when I asked 'what next' he said he would have to speak to someone and get back to me... He did that only to tell me I probably had type 2 and needed another test... I'm now due, 5 days later, to have a call from the diabetes nurse.

Thank you for your feedback. When a patient is newly diagnosed sometimes further tests need to be carried out, prior to a firm plan being put into place. Often as in your case you are then dealt with by a specialist nurse within that field to ensure optimum care is achieved.

Discussion regarding cholesterol

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I had a call back from the doctor who discussed my blood test results and the likelihood of risk from high cholesterol. I was fully informed of the advantages of taking Statins to reduce the cholesterol. She also acquainted me with the possible side effects and suggested a follow up blood test in three months. This I found very reassuring.

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

This is not my surgery however after speaking a doctor on the phone they managed to get an urgent appointment at this GP practice, I was seen by Kate Jones, who immediately referred me to the Emergency Department, the care was great there and they booked my taxi for me.

It turned out I had a stomach Ulcer and was bleeding internally, I was in hospital from Friday night and got discharged on Tuesday.

I'm not sure what would've happened if I wasn't seen to that day, but thanks to Kate for looking after me.
